In a gamified project, we use badges to show participants' progress in the gamification. A badge can be used to recognise the completion of a mission, or to recognise participation in a special event. As students level up within the project, we as teachers must recognise that progress through badges.
Now then, which digital tools will we use to create badges? The following:
1. Makebadges: very easy to use, quick and simple.
2. Accredible: we would need to go to resources and then to badge designer. This is a more complex tool than the previous one.
Extra importance should be given to the final badge, which will be awarded at the last level of the gamification.

Why do we like one type of game more than another?
Everyone has a range of motivations and interests that determine which type of game they choose. That's why, before starting a gamification, it's very important to carry out an initial assessment aimed at finding out what types of players we have in the classroom based on their interests. This is important, since it will give us clues when planning and designing our missions and ensuring they fulfil students' motivations, and it will also help prevent students from disengaging from the gamification.
Below are the three most relevant player classifications.

As you already know, narrative is a very important aspect when it comes to gamifying, since it increases our students' motivation.
Below is an example of a narrative aimed at generating student motivation. It consisted of a BreakoutEdu based on outdoor challenges to celebrate Physical Education day.
